- Radio SOS Ploiesti is a property of the Romanian-American H&H MEDIA LTD. Ploiesti, according to the broadcasting licence no: R094 from November 1st,1993.
Radio SOS broadcasts on the 101.7 FM stereo frequency, within a radius of 20 miles around the city of Ploiesti.
- The shows with cultural-educational content, together with original quality music, shape a special sound which makes Radio SOS unique in the county mass-media.
Even though we are said to be a commercial radio station, in fact we have focused on the cultural-educational side, because we believe that the radio can be an imporant educational tool.
Acknowledging the strength of the information, we offer our audience the newsgroups from BBC, entirely retransmited. Also we have newsgoups containing the most important local events, news, daily brought in by our field reporters and presented in an impartial and balanced manner.
- The measure in which we managed to hit our targets is given by the percentage of our audience: 15% of the population of one of the largest cities of the country.
- Our audience is formed mainly of young families, with ages varying between 25-40, and children of 4-15 years of age. The quality and integrity of the information we offer is appreciated by our audience, thus becoming an important potential marketing zone for the businesses that advertises through our radio station.
- Our tariffs for advertising are reasonable, considering that we address the category of audience that
has the strongest capability to buy. If only 10% of them would become your costumers, the sales figure would grow substantially.

- THE HOUR OF MUSIC is an inspired incursion within the history of classical music, exemplified with referential pieces.
- HEART OF A CHILD is a show dedicated to the youngest and most loyal audience of ours, also followed by their parents.
- Promoting Christian-moral values is the purpose of shows such as SINCERELY ABOUT THE FAMILY, THE PATH TOWARD THE HIGHTS, CHILDLIKE ZONE, QUO VADIS, CHRISTIANITY ALONG CENTURIES.
- The direct contact with the audience is also established: THE NEED FOR NORMALITY, MUSICAL DEDICATIONS, S.O.S. SIGNALS, WHAT IS HAPPENING, DOCTOR?, BECAUSE YOU ARE SPECIAL also the talkshows such as LANDMARKS, are presented every evening and has its established audience.
